Playstation 3 mit Linux

Heute hatte ich das Vergnügen, einer Playstation 3 ein Linux zu verpassen. Eine Kommilitonin von mir arbeitet an einem Institut und dort soll die PS3 zum Rechnen eingesetzt werden. Alles in allem war die Installation eine leichte Übung. Man muss nur in dem Menu die Platte formatieren, die otheros.bld einscannen und die Install-CD starten. So war sehr schnell ein Linux auf der Platte. Nun geht es darum, ein Programm zu kompilieren, was die “Coprozessoren” sinnvoll nutzt. Ich bin mal gespannt.
