Diese Postkarte stammt aus Lappeenranta. Das ist die Stadt des Sommers in Südkarelien. Der Name kommt daher, dass die Sommer in der Stadt wärmer als anderswo in Finnland sind. Auf der Karte kann man auch den Saimaakanal sehen. Er verbindet den größten See Finnlands mit dem Finnischen Meerbusen.
