latexmk

Wer desöfteren Texte in LaTeX schreibt, der weiß, dass man in dre Regel in verschiedenen Fenstern arbeitet. In einem wird geschrieben und im nächsten wird der Quellcode durch den Interpreter gejagt. Wer LaTeX allein verwendet, hat evtl. noch das Problem, mehrmals LaTeX aufrufen zu müssen bzw. noch BiBTeX einzubinden. Eine große Hilfe ist hier rubber. Das Programm automatisiert den LaTeX-Lauf und es ist nicht mehr notwendig, große make-Dateien zu schreiben. Bei Uwe Hermann bin auf latexmk aufmerksam geworden. Das Programm läuft im Hintergrund und überwacht die Datei. Immer, wenn diese gespeichert wird, kompiliert latexmk automatisch die Quellen neu und man muss nur noch zwischen den Quellen und dem dvi/ps/pdf wechseln. Sehr praktisch!
