Happy Birthday PGP

Wie ich gerade bei Stefan lese, wird PGP 15 Jahre alt. Damals setzte sich Phil Zimmermann hin und schrieb ein Programm mit dem es dem Privatmann möglich war, seine Privatsphäre mehr zu schützen. Nach dem derzeitigen Referentenentwurf für das Gesetz zur Vorratsdatenspeicherung wird die Privatsphäre weiter ausgehöhlt und die totale Überwachung ist nicht mehr weit. Wer sich und seine Daten dennoch ein wenig schützen will, dem sei die Version 2.0 von GnuPG, dem freien Nachfolger von PGP ans Herz gelegt. Happy Birthday PGP und Herzlich Willkommen GnuPG 2.0!
