Eine neue Generation von mutt

Andreas Krennmair hat einen längst überfälligen Schritt gemacht. In seinem Weblog gab er vor kurzem bekannt, dass er einen neuen Entwicklungszweig (aka fork) von mutt beginnt. Andreas hat sein neues Kind mutt-ng genannt, wenngleich man anhand der Kommentare sieht, dass der Name evtl. noch nicht endgültig ist. Sven Guckes hatte auf dem letztjährigen Chemnitzer Linuxtag schon seine Ideen für einen neuen Mailer namens Bark vorgestellt. Doch ihm schwebt hier mehr eine komplette Neuentwicklung vor. Auf seiner Roadmap haben sich schon einige interessante Ideen gesammelt. Hoffentlich wird Andreas einige davon in sein Projekt übernehmen.
